Due to the unprecedented situation with the Coronavirus outbreak and recent Government guidelines our business practices have changed to ensure the health and safety of our staff and also our customers. Please see updates below:
Update August 2020
Following the latest Government announcement and guidelines, we are pleased to announce that we are now able to resume full shipping operations.
For further information regarding orders and delivery please contact our Customer Services Team.
In order for our team to be able to return to construction sites, we have updated our Risk Assessments to address the risks of COVID-19. These actions will allow us to make informed decisions and implement control measures such as additional PPE to keep our staff safe whilst working on site.
Clients and Surveyors
Our nationwide team of Technical Managers are now where absolutely necessary, able to return to sites to carry out any urgent surveys and complete inspection reports for ongoing projects. They will be adhering to the health and safety advice as set by the Government to ensure that they operate in a safe manner and minimise any risks related to the Coronavirus pandemic. Our Technical Team will continue to work from home and are fully committed and available to answer your questions. We are actively encouraging our clients and contractors to conduct remote meetings via video conferencing tools where possible. Should you require further assistance such as specifications, technical drawings, guarantees or product information please contact your local Technical Manager.
Garland Approved Contractors are continuing to service sites where possible in a safe and orderly manner as per construction site safety guidelines set out by the Government. The NFRC has published detailed information on how to conduct roofing works safely as we transition out of the lockdown period.
Our staff at HQ remain on hand to assist contractors with orders for ongoing and new projects. Should your project be starting in the coming weeks then please can we ask that you reach out to your local Technical Manager who will be able to make arrangements for the order to be safely fulfilled.
